Drone In Abu Dhabi Rescues Stranded Window Cleaner
Police in Abu Dhabi used a drone to come to the aid of stranded window cleaner on the 10th floor. The cleaning platform malfunctioned while he was cleaning the windows of a tower block on Sheikh Rashed bin Saeed Al Maktoum Road.
The drones camera system allowed police to inspect the cleaning cradle and identify the damaged area. Using an onboard microphone, emergency crews were able to talk the man through how to fix it and get him down safety.
