Hi Joseph- It is best to check with your local authorities to find out what’s legal in your area. The Federal Aviation Administration has a lot of information of where you can and cannot fly a drone. You can find that information here. https://www.faa.gov/uas/

Do you need an FAA Permit to fly this drone in Brooklyn NY. I would like to use it for fishing in the Jamaica Bay area and Rockaways but all that area is near to the JFK Airport..
